“Sunshine Policy” – AQUA Magazine, May 2008
How much do you know about solar heating? How fast can you learn? In addition to the incentive of growing consumer demand for solar heat, there may soon be legislative requirements that pools be — at least partly — heated by the sun. Lawmakers on both the East and West Coasts — and from both sides of the aisle — have introduced legislation that would require solar heating systems to supplement gas pool heaters. Read More
“Sun Up” – Athletic Business Magazine, December 2009
A year ago, natural gas prices were nearly three times what they were in 1999. Now they’re only twice as high. But heating a commercial swimming pool still takes a chunk of change, especially when you consider the relatively cheap power available from the ball
of superheated hydrogen and helium that can be viewed, most days, up in the sky. Read More
