Sunshine Policy - Legislation Would Require Use of Solar
The Hybrid Swimming Pool Heating Act, if passed, would require swimming
pool owners wishing to heat their pools to do so - at least in part -
with the help of solar. This market-driven legislation, currently
circulating in at least 9 states, has been introduced as bills in New Jersey and California and would require pools heated with fossil fuel to include solar equivalent to 25% of the pool's surface area.
